Fire and Ice Studio

Fire & Ice Studio

The Ice portion of this studio uses our cold immersion public health inspected commercial tubs.

The Fire portion of this studio uses an eight (8) person traditional Finnish Sauna for Contrast Therapy.

Ice Benefits

Ice baths aren’t as extremem as whole-body cryotherapy, which involves brief exposure to extremely low temperatures.  Instead, ice bath include a brief — usually around 5 to 10 minutes — plunge in 50 to 59 F water.  Fans of the method use ice bath to remedy muscled soreness, stress and more.

Ice Baths Can Help With:

  • Reduces inflammation and swelling.
  • Relieves sore muscles.
  • Aids exercise recovery.
  • Lowers core body temperature.
  • Supports immunity.
  • Improves mental health.

Fire Benefits

Regular use of dry saunas can benefit your health in several different ways.  Here at Keswick Active Health Group we use a Finnish Dry Sauna instead of an infrared sauna.  The difference between the two is that dry saunas naturally heat the air around the body instead of the body being warmed directly by the infrared light.

Dry Sauna Treatments Can Help With:

  • Chronic fatigue.
  • Cardiovascular disease.
  • Better exercise performance,
  • Relief from certain skin conditions.
  • Asthma symptoms.
  • Lower risks of dementia.

We would be happy to discuss all the benefits of booking sessions
